In 1999 a completely new automated bottle filling line, produced by a German company and conforming to the latest EU requirements, was installed in JSC Baltic Mineral Waters Company. The line bottles natural mineral water, soft drinks, kvass, ice tea, and spring water.
To ensure the smooth flow of the process advanced technological equipment conforming to EU standards and expensive stainless steel pipes are being used. The high quality of the products is guaranteed by the production safety system.
As strict requirements are applied to natural mineral water, daily chemical and microbiological control is carried out by a local accredited laboratory. Periodical control is performed by the National Veterinary laboratory and a laboratory in Germany.
Each year the annual test results are submitted to the Ministries of Environment and Health for recognition as natural mineral water.
TICHĖ is in the list of natural mineral waters recognized in Europe.
Twice a year the quality of natural mineral water is assessed by a special US veterinary service and auditors. As it meets all the European and American requirements TICHĖ has been selected for the NATO army.
