JSC Baltic Mineral Waters Company was the first company in Lithuania, which in 1999 offered Lithuanian people TICHĖ natural water of medium mineralization extracted through stainless steel pipes from a 689 metre deep well located in Telšiai.
The borehole is constructed to a depth of about 700 metres in geological sandstone, dolomite, and gypsum layers, which were formed almost 400 million years ago. The mineral water in these layers is 10,000 – 13,000 years old. The composition of this calcium magnesium sulphatic water was conditioned by a complex metamorphosis that took place in the ground, melting calcium and magnesium minerals in dolomites, and gypsum layers.
TICHĖ water is safe as it is protected from soil, radiation, air or any other type of pollution by the geological layers of the ground.
This natural mineral water is used for producing TICHĖ ACTIVE soft drinks with different flavours, GAJA and GAJA KIDS lemonades, ICE TEA GAJA ice tea drinks, and DUONOS and MEDAUS kvass soft drinks.
Recently, Lithuanian people have been offered new natural spring water, MONA, which is extracted from a 260 metre deep well. The public institution Nutrition Fund confirmed that the lemonade GAJA produced by JSC Baltic Mineral Waters Company conforms to all the requirements for a product that can be recommended as suitable and safe for people’s nutrition. GAJA lemonade is not only safe for adults to consume, but also for children.
Natural mineral water
TICHĖ natural mineral water is not produced, not mineralized, and not diluted. It is extracted through stainless steel pipes without any contact with air. It has a very rare composition, which contains natural minerals and has been ideally balanced by nature. Apart from its refreshing properties, it provides the most necessary minerals for the human body.
Lemonade, soft drinks
GAJA and GAJA KIDS lemonades are produced from TICHĖ natural mineral water. They are sweetened with natural sugar only (no artificial sweeteners are used) and have natural fruit juice flavour.
